I just got my truck back with a 5.5 lift, radius arms, superrunner steering, and RS-9000. I like the ride of the lift BETTER than stock. One question though, do you know why my truck sits 1/4in lower on the left and is it normal for the truck to pull slightly to the right. I got thier when they were aligning it and think they rushed. Should I take it back to re check it?
Thanks,

It leans to the left due to the gas tank being on that side. It pulls to the right cause all Fords with a ttb / twin I-beam setup do that. It will get better with each alignment as the lift breaks in.

My recomendation is to sit in your Explorer while they align it. This is the only way I have ever got a good alignment without the pull to the right.

Hey, hey, hey...

Another modified Explorer in San Jose??? Let me know when you guys are getting together to compare notes.

I'm not as modified as you guys: 2.5" Rancho, 32" BFG AT KO, Ramsey winch, TJM bumper, 4.10 gears, and misc other mods.

Hey guys,
I am pretty busy this weekend but was planning Hollister the 15th maybe. The guy at 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers said that when I take my truck in for a re-check on all of the bolts he will re-allign it to go straight. Hopefully it works. BTW: I am still runnig 30's untill I can get the 33's.
Once I get a few more mods I will send in my pics. Hey I think I am the only 15 year old w/ a lifted explorer.

Tim -

That must be nice being able to afford such a nice hobby at such a young age. Anyway, let's get a thread on the Serious Exploration to see what the best date down to Hollister is.

Thomas -

If you guys are going this Sunday, let me know for sure and I think I can hook up with you guys down in Hollister.

I don't know if I can afford it but I do try. I mowed lawns for about two years to give me enough money for fun and save for the lift. The explorer was my dads. Now I am saving for tires and much, much more. But I did take some advice from those other guys and purchased a stock account that I am getting about 40% a year on for my future.

I will check out the serious explorations board and my friend in his stock jeep is coming(his first time wheelin) so I don't plan on anything above blue circles.
