I've been selling audiobahn for over a year now, and I wouldn't buy anything audiobahn, the quality just isn't there.

15' subs usually get pretty sloppy with multiple fast bass hits, where a twelve will hit the same low frequencies in your music and hit more accurately and quicker. Most music doesn't have bass anywhere below 40 hertz anyways.

I've had about every size sub available and the frequency response and accuracy always depended on the specific model and installation... rather than the size.

That is true! The install has alot to do with it. Actually it's the box. Make sure you have the correct cubic space for the woofers! I run this set up right now and I have a box that is 1.5 cubic feet per sub. Also you can never have enough power!!!!

Oh, and don't go to EBAY! keep it local. you will have better luck and customer service! The Kicker subs should go for $90per sub and the amp is $200 that will leave you with enough for wiring and a box, Minus tax of course!!! Good Luck

Correct me if I'm wrong...mono amps can only hook up to one sub?? Therefore I'd need to of those alpines to power each sub?

No, You can hook up both subs to that amp! It is called bridging the subs. That amp is bridgable down to 2ohm I believe, so you would need two 4ohm subs. Then, you will bridge the subs parallel to the amp. How you do that is to take one positive from one speaker and hook it to the other speakers positive, as well as negitive to negitive. Then you will hook positive to the positive side of the amp and negeitive to the negitive side! If it is 4ohm mono you will need two 8ohm subs, then do the same thing. I suggest having someone at the dealer for you. If they want the sale they will do it for free!!!
