5r55e Overdrive Question

I have a 99 explorer with 135,000 miles on it . I just did the TSB on the valve body. Now when I'm cruising at 65 mph on flat road the rpms go up and down. The trans seems to shift up and down and it feels like it slips.
What could the problem be?

No, it's just while cruising. The transmission is already in overdrive. I'm not sure if it is the torque converter locking and unlocking. It sometimes happens every couple minutes.

That certainly sounds like the torque converter unlocking.
Just a guess, but maybe a faulty TCC solenoid......?
Or maybe a wiring problem to the TCC; possible loose plug-in
connector.....?
 






Thanks for the response. I'll have to check that. Is there a way to check it without removing the pan?
 












I'll try that. What colors are the wires? Also what is the part number for the updated bracket?
