nvm found the site. any idea what a valve body from them costs with the discount? oh wait found a link to them on ebay $273 for a rebuilt is more than i'm willing or can afford to pay at this time, i'll try my luck with the $100 vb i posted in the link earlier

The valve bodies from Central Valve Bodies have all of the upgrades, and is the reason why they cost so much more than the one going for $100 which is used.

hmm the more i think about, i am going to try to adjust the bands first. I don't believe the epc or tcc solenoid or passages would be failing without a trans code. But since the problem goes away with the tc locked i think its a mechanical problem.

alright, just adjusted both the bands as per the write, on the sport trac getting around the range selector in a *****. Results, took care of 90% of the shutter. So it looks like my overdrive band was a little loose and it started to glaze over. so only time will tell if the band will last.

yeah i was on their website yesterday. that is an awesome deal. I might get one on those just because it is so cheap. I think their is still some minor slippage. I regapped the plugs as they have about 40k on them. Gotta love copper tip ngks. That took care of another 7% on the problem. so just 3% left to fix.
