i'm about to overhual my 5r55e i've had it apart before but never did clutches how hard is it to change the clutch pack I see there is a special tool to do this any advice?? and do i really need the tool?
No you do not need a compressor for the clutch packs just use three QwikGrip clamps and three deep well sockets. I'll put up a photo if you need one. What you will like to have though is something to resize all those Teflon seals, an something to align the pump with.
