Most likely mount them on the pillar. Probably end up putting oil pressure, oil temp, and water temp gauges above the rear view mirror, mounted where the map lights/thermometer/compass would be , had my truck had that
If there isnt room for the sender on the line pressure test port, I THINK I can use a mechanical sending unit kit, and just run a short line to a place where there is room for the sender.
Im wondering if the nylon tubing that is commonly used for mechanical pressure gauges will be able to deal with the high pressure of the transmission. The 'install kits' look to contain all the fittings I would need to mount the pressure sender remotely.
