Just FYI - I installed an in-dash changer from an '01 Mustang GT. I had to shave the flange from around the perimeter of the face plate so it would fit in the hole of the radio bezel - but, it plugs right in and also interfaces with the entire system perfectly. So, now I have an in-dash and in-console changer. The deck recognizes the two different changers. Also, now the signal must have additional power, because it has made a significant difference in sound quality. More power!!!! More sound!!!! More bass!!!!
(Now my existing system is a MACH audio system and the Mustang had the MACH system also)
