6x8's or 6X9's or 6.5's?

I was wondering what people prefered haveing, 6x8's, 6x9's or 6.5's?

6x8 stock with no mods---no hard work decent $

6x9 better sound may need to do some work to fit more $$

6.5 will bolt in with adapters....sound the best...need tweets also... more $$$

If you're already gonna go beyond the stock size of 6x8, might as well go with 5.25 or 6.5 components.

jim and alec are right.
6.5" components will give you the best sound quality.
if you dont want to buy an amp to power the speakers, then get a pair of 6.5" 3 ways or 2 ways. they'll still sound better than the oval shaped speakers.
