8.8 axle weight

Anyone know the shipping weight of a disc brake rear 8.8 axle??

Looking for a good way to ship heavy items like axles, transmissions and engines?

Should be around 150 lbs. I shipped one from PA to IL via Motor Freight. Seems to be the most cost effective way. I strapped it to a pallet and had them pick it up from our loading dock at work.

I found a weight of 174lbs also.

Best guess from memory is around $80, but it's been 2 years and my memory is old and faded .
