8.8 Tone rings?

are all tone rigs the same? I know the abs sensors very. the reason why I'm asking is I need to have gears installed in my 89 bronco 8.8 (ABS only) but need to know if the ring is the same that is in my 99 Explorer 8.8 (VSS & ABS)

That way I can get the gears done with out ripping my axle apart yet

I can't see why they'd change them. But if they are different your speedometer will just be off. With your luck it'd adjust it just right for the tire size.
