87 ranger XLT Rear Window Question

I'm getting ready to fix some rust and leaks on the top of the vehicle and need to work around the rear glass.The slider window frame is rusting so am going to pull it out.I want to replace it with a single piece of glass but it looks like the sheet metal is configured differently then Rangers with the single piece glass.Can anyone tell me if a stock single piece glass will replace the slider glass?Thanks alot!

I can't say for sure, but I doubt the sheetmetal is different. I think the slider just uses a wider rubber strip to hold the extra width.
