91 Clutch Replacement HELP !!

How do you get the upper bellhousing bolts out !!
There is no room and the bolts are unbeliveably
tight. I had to use my foot on a breaker bar to
crack the lower ones loose. Any suguestions or hints ??
Should I remove the exhaust at the manifolds
to gain more clearance ??

I didnt have a problem at all removing the top bolts. Sounds like perhaps there is too much pressure on them. does it help to jack up the rear of the tranny a bit?

Definitely remove the 4 exhaust bolts at the exhaust manifold..

Bah, leave the exhaust the way it is. Just remove the hanger at the cat if you have one. This allows a little more flex to get the tranny out. Now get a CRAZY long extension and put a ratchet on the top bolts. They will come out.
