91 explorer will not move runs fine tho

have a 91 explorer with a automatic transmission 4x4 not sure if i am having transmission problems or if it is transfercase or transfer case motor ? i can put it into drive or reverse sounds like its spinning something but will not move when i go to put it in park it makes a grinding noise drive shafts do not move in 4 or 2 wheel drive and it is good on fluid i am stumped any help would help me out alot

Transfer case is lost and in neutral,search for shift motor and a bunch of threads will come up telling you how to fix it.
