92 explorer front brake pads ratteling

Installed new front pads are there supposed to be a clip of somesort installed on the caliper so the brake pads dont rattle in the caliper , if so mine are missing can i get them from , at advance or autozone ? they do have them for my 03 limited .. thx

Yup, even called "anti rattle clips", you can get a package of two for a few dollars. I got mine at Pep Boys, but any auto place should have them. They install onto the bottom of the brake pads that dont' mount... It's been a while since I"ve looked at my Explorer, but the pads that don't have the metal arms on them? It's just a simple clip on the bottom that wedges the pad into the setup. It'll make a lot of sense once you see them.
