so i bought a 92 explorer just to beat up on. But it had no power at all. if you floor it will move slowly and only go up to like 35mph. it idles fine super quiet and sounds good. Could this be a bad fuel filter? MAF sensor? Injectors? Plugs and wires? anyone else have this problems?

The engine idles and accelerates smoothly, just slowly? It really doesn't sound like a fuel issue unless the fuel pump is very weak, more likely an air issue. The maf is a possibility but without some testing, anything would be just a guess.

Um... make sure the throttle cable is tightened properly? It may have come loose from some reason and when you press the acelerator, it's not opening the butteryfly... just a thought.

Other than that, these aren't very high HP engines, so you can't expect to move like a current explorer. Maybe give it a tune up, check everything and see what happens.

Another thing is the catalytic converter, think of trying to exhale thru a straw
And a fuel filter could cause that ,do a fuel pressure check, easy enough..:D
