I was planning to bleed my brakes today and of course the bleeder nuts and the brake line fittings were frozen. Now I need to replace the wheel cylinders on the rear but can't tell what type of flare to use on the line or even the fitting size. (It is frozen for eternity)

to make matters worse I did a search for info and learned it was a double flare or a bubble flare on the line and a 3/8 pipe or a 3/8 metric fitting (what ever that is). In other words I am as clueless now as when I started.

Does anyone have a definitive answer for the type of flare and the fitting size? Was there a change during the model year which caused the differing answers? I have ordered new wheel cylinders but need to know the tools I need to have on hand for when they arrive.
Any info is appreciated!

Thanks for the link. I still need to be sure of the fitting but I guess I will have to wait until the wheel cylinders arrive to find out for sure.
