- 92 Eddie/89 ranger ex cab
I have a 92 explorer sport with 3.27 gears, m50d, and a 4.0L. I have to tow a gutted 92 4 door eddie bauer explorer to a steel recycler for it to be crushed. whats left of the eddie is the frame, body with the 4 doors, no rear hatch, nothing in the interior at all, no front sheet metal, no wiring, no engine, no trans, no axles, and no suspension. i'm towing it with a friends car trailer i'm not sure of its weight, and im going to throw inside of the eddie about 10 steel rims, 3 fenders and a few scrap steel tube pieces.
the question is: will I be able to tow the eddie loaded on the trailer with all that stuff in it up to 15 miles away from my house in my sport? its not a very inclined (see:not a lot of hills) trip to the scrapper and I won't be going over 45 mph probably.
