Hey all..(tried posting this once before and it didnt seem to take so here goes again)

Saw the tread on how to get the codes with the wire jump thing. So the codes were KOEO 214 then KOER 536 538. I saw a page that explains these.. but I wasnt clear if it was for the 93 6 cyl.. so.. THEN.. What to do after I know what these codes are?.. I did have some engine trouble a while ago.. I had a cyl that wasnt firing.. the injector was unplugged, so I plugged it back in and lo and behold its running on all 6.. but that @#$@#% CEL is still on!!

According to a handy book

code 214 is a cylinder id circuit fault. It could be related to either the crank sensor or , if equipped, the cam position sensor ( look to see if it is unplugged also)

536 = brake on off switch not activated during KOER test
538 = insufficient rpm change during KOER cylinder balance test.

Try disconnecting the battery for a while to reset the PCM, then see if the codes re appear.

I did the battery disconnect thing .. CEL still stays on when engine is running. so.. about that cam position sensor.. where might that be located?
