My left blinker doesn't blink and when I turn my head lights on my dash lights won't turn on, so I have to get the knob in between the amber lights setting and the headlights setting for my dash lights to turn on. My left rear light turns on but won't brighten when applying the brakes or blinker. What is wrong and what do I do.

I would start by replacing the bulbs. I have seen many that look good, but when I replaced them they worked perfectly. It's something like $6 dollars for 2 lamps.

When your dash lights are off, do you have tail lights? they are tied together. If you don't have dash lights then you don't have tail lights. If you do have tail lights, then it's my guess your switch is bad or needs cleaning.

like you said dash lights ain't on tail lights ain't on. I was told that it was a bad switch but I wanted to get more opinions.

Check your fuses first. I suggest you check them with a multi meter or test light. I found a few fuses that look ok but don't pass with the test light. If it keeps popping fuses, then check your trailer harness first.

They have always built cars so that if you don't have dash lights then you know your tail lights are out. But no one seems to know this. Been that way since the Model T.
