Just showing off the car and what I’ve done and am hoping to do to it! I got this car last year with 101,000 miles on it since then I have put about 4K on it and have treated her quite well. First things done was audio a new stereo, speakers in all four doors and just recently took the subwoofer out of a 94 limited and the wiring harness to put the subwoofer in my car and to have keyless entry into my car. My dad has been a big help in what has been done to this car seeing as he was a mechanic back in the day. We have also put new headlights in to give it a fresh new look and I took my dads old wheels off his Jeep which are 31x10.5 R15 and put them on mine which has all stock suspension and they fit great. As for the most recent thing done was the cheap roof rack I got for the car to put the spare on. M’y next mods I am hoping to do are a exhaust a light bar and then replacing the bald tires. That’s all so far hope you enjoy it and my pics of it!

Welcome to the forum.

I love the photo of the dog lounging next to the Explorer:chug:

I am back with an update as well as some photos! Just recently purchased some new tires which are some 31x10.5 R15 Goodyear’s as well as adding a 2 inch lift to my explorer and some warn manual locking hubs. Also removed the stock muffler and put on a flow master super 40 series muffler instead. Along with all this upgraded the cars interior lights to LED, licence plate lights, and upgraded the headlights. Added light bars on top of the roof basket with some pictures as to where I have the buttons located for them and in the footwell I have a switch I can tap with my foot to turn the yellow side lights on. I also added my spare on to the top of the basket as well! Hope you enjoy these pictures!

The new rubber looks great, as does the rest of that clean Explorer:chug:

An update as it’s been awhile! Still have the explorer at about 145,000 miles on it right now and it’s been great. Since my last post I have since swapped out the front axle for a 35 ttb I refurbished that has 3.73 gears. I also swapped a 8.8 with disc brakes and a LSD out of a 98 explorer and refurbished it as well. I’m now on a 4 inch rough country lift with James duff steel braided brake lines and long arms. Still on 31s hoping to regear and get bigger tires as well as a little bit more lift out of it and I think it will be sitting great!
