94 explorer-max tire size?

I am planning on getting some new tires for my 94 explorer 4x4 and i was wondering if anyone knows if 31's will fit on there. It is stock and if not what is the max size i cant put on?

Sometimes 31"s will fit sometimes not...depends on the vehicle. Do a search been discussed hundreds of times (probably more). If you want to lift it alittle you can do a spacer/aal or warrior shackle lift, this is what I have and love it...also been discussed many times. Good luck and welcome to the site!!

31's should be fine as long as you mount them on stock rims. If you will use wider rims (15X8) they might rub in the front... rear lower corner of the fender. Nothing a hammer and sawzall won't fix.
