94 Explorer transmission has all forward gears and park.

hello my name is kelly,I"m a back yard mechanic but some times I get it right!! but you know You can"t allways get what you want! The trans is always in forward in nertrul reverse and kind of in park ? what the @@@ is the problem help.

i had the same problem with a 4r70w in an f-150,it turned out to be a broken servo piston return spring.when you put it in any gear it would move and shift but had no reverse and lurched forward when you started it in park.
