...Welcome here...:D

...You will not be able to pass smog with a K&N, KKM, Or any other aftermarket air filter (except drop-in's)...Some have got away with it but were lucky as it was not spotted on the inspection...:dunno:...You will probably have to find/re-install a stock box and filter...

...Also, just a heads up, you may have to do the new "Evap" test required on vehicles up to '95..;)

welcome

Welcome To The Forum! Don't know the smog stuff, but instead of wasting your time on something that may not pass, I would just reinstall the stock intake filter til it passes then reinstall the aftermarket stuff.

Welcome to this forum! Why wouldn't an air filter pass an emission test? It doesn't alter the actual emissions like something in the nature of a performance catalytic converter or removing an emissions part.

...I thought I would add this...This is from the KKM website...;)

Is the True-Rev Induction kit emissions legal in my area?

The True-Rev Induction Kit is designed for competition use and though it does not eliminate any required emissions devices, it does not carry any emissions exemption certificates. The bottom line is check with your state testing stations for guidelines on engine modifications. Our Kits are not C.A.R.B. certified.
