no my open filter is about as close to the back of the firewall and to the top of the hood as possible.... i have about 10.5 of lift since my sas.... i only ever hydro'ed once knock on wood....

LOL Don't you ever get tired of those pictures, Darren? I had a friend I hadn't seen in a while up to my room to show her the funky paint job I did on the walls, and she spotted that one pic on top of my dresser...
