ok..my 95 has a problem. it get zero radio reception. so at first i thought it was just a bad connection on the antenna wire. well i have traced the wire to the amp in the back. i fiddled with it..nothing..so i removed the fender and played with the connection on the power antenna..still nothing..so i swaped my same JBL HU from my '96 limited. and it does the same thing..static.. :(

so what now???? im thinking the amp is bad..but it plays CDs and tapes great..prefect sound everything. it just wont get any radio..just very low static.

please any help would be great!

if only radio doesn't come in, then it's something with the antenna, or atleast between the antenna and HU

Try replacing the antenna wire from the antenna to the main unit in the rear.

ok i went and bought a cheap antenna to just try.....nothing...what next?

antenna had it's own coax cable from the antenna to the HU right?

eh?
I have no clue then... I swear my Sploder had the JBL premium system, but my antenna connects to my HU

if you have the JBL system..you have a sub in the back, and the 6 disk CD changer..and it would say JBL on the HU.

well i fixed it!!! it was the AMP..i was right..i scored a hell of a deal on the amp, sub, the whole deal for $20..replaced the AMP..and it works now!! yay
