95 Eb 4x4 Trans

i have a 95 eddie bauer 4x4 and my transmission is done for. the overdrive light wont stop blinking on my dashboard and whenever i slow down below 15 mph it shifts crazy and my brakes lock up. i know it is probably about to die i have 240k on the trans. so it went a long time but i need to know where i can drain the transmission fluid (automatic) and i was gonna drain alittle fluid and then put some LUCAS transmission fix in it to maybe help the shifting. the fluid is to full right now and i dont want to overfill it. ANYONE THAT CAN HELP ME IN ANY WAY PLEASE I NEED IT!

The Lucas oil stuff is just putting a bandaid on things. From the sounds of your post, you need a complete transmission overhaul.

thats not going to work. the same thing happened to my 95 explorer eddie bauer and i had to get a whole new trans. it ran me about $1600 and mine isnt even 4X4. i wouldnt even spend my time doing all that its time for a new car or a new trans.

yeah it totally went out last night, i will be getting a refund on the lucas.
