My check engine light has been on and I'm getting a code 335. I figure it is the dpfe sensor, but i can't find a place to buy it. It seems that all part stores in my area don't have the part for this application

EGR sensor voltage out of range. I don't believe you have a DPFE. Isn't there a sensor mounted on the EGR valve that tells the computer when the valve is open or shut? Also, does your EGR get its vacuum from a black gadget called a PFE.

Check O'riley's web sight for a visual of the componants.

I won't be able to look at the car until the weekend but I do not believe that there is a sensor mounted on the egr valve. I checked various auto parts website and i can't find the part

I apologise. Its not like mine. You have a pressure sensor. It looks like a DPFE. Ill bet that's it. They go bad a lot. I saw it on auto zones web sight.
