Dave,

I'm from Wilkes-Barre, PA, but travel to State College frequently as my brother lives there and I am attending Penn State on Pre-Med this fall. Next time I am going I'll drop you an e-mail and maybe we can get togather if you find some trails.

BTW, I'm 18, how old are you?

i turn 18 in july, getting together to wheel would be cool, do you know anybody else that wheels around PA

There's a local guy who has a 2001 XLT, but I haven't seen him around lately. PA is pretty sparse on Explorer runners. Now Explorer grocery-getters, they're a dime a dozen...

Im in PA to

95 4X4 LIFT

Dave, I'm not sure how much time you've invested in searching for a suspension lift or if you have found one. I have spent several months looking for a kit only to find one. Trailmaster had a 4" kit for the 1995 4x4 which I just found out had been pulled from the market. I a'm still searching and if you run across one, let me know.

i dont know anything about lifting explorers, but i heard 95+ were easy to lift. the front has torsion bars. and i dont know what they do to the rear, but there are plenty of lifted 954X4's on this site. you could post a thread asking how to lift it in the suspension/lift kits forum.

dave, i live in huntingdon valley, but i go to school at PSU right in state college (ill be a 5th year senior this fall.) we just started a PA club (PennEx.), we're supossed to have our first meet sometime this fall. we'd love to you have out with us. you can contact Jeff about it (do a search for JDraper.)

and congrats on your new X!

I'm also a student at PSU (going on 5yrs). I'm running a street X and don't really do much trails (unless there is a ton of snow, then thats fun stuff). But there are plenty of places to go around there. If they have paintball fields and deer pens, there will be trails inbetween them.

My friend has a 92 topless Bronco, lifted and 31" tires. He takes that thing out all the time so i'll talk to him and find out where he slings mud.

new photos added, and i got a sounddomain page now, please check it out, im still workin on it though

Sweet... didn't know that was up there. It looks fun and I'd love to talk to someone that's gone already and get some details.
I'm away on business that week, should be back for the weekend (though it's Valentines weekend) :nono: but we'll see what can get worked out. :D
