Cool. Looks alot like mine. What kind of seats do you have?

They are cheap (in my case free because a friend gave them to me) seat covers from autozone.

I like it a lot, I wish I had a new generation X, Nice truck

Thanks for the compliments. It doesnt ride too much different from stock actually, and i suppose when i finally break down and buy some new shocks for lowered explorers it will ride even better than stock.

Nice looking truck. You've got some good taste.

Chris, i like your airdam. Is that an explorer express airdam? nice X

NICE! I can spot a set of 255/55/R18 Toyo Proxes S/T tires when I see one! The fender flares make it look even better, makes me wanna go and rip a set off an EB and put em on mine.

yea, i was thinking the same thing, exept if i did, i would paint them the same color as the car...

I got the rims and tires for 1000 total, including lug nuts, mounting and balancing, over ebay. Slightly used (less than 10,000 miles). Thanks for the compliment, i like these rims too. I just painted the brake calipers red today and it looks even better.

Uh, Oh! I painted my calipers silver with high temp paint and it held the heat in which burned all the grease off the sliders and caused my brakes to start hanging up. I got the paint blasted off and had to have the sliders regreased. I didnt put it on heavy either.

hmmm....well i know people have painted calipers without problems, but this does make me worry. I have drive around for a day or so now and no problems yet, but i will watch closely. Do you think i should try to take the paint off or just see how it goes?

see how it goes. watch your gas mileage. listen for squeeks and other unusual noises.

thanks a bunch. Ive been checking them a lot, after driving they dont really feel warm like they are holding in heat, and the discs look okay, but i will keep watching. Thanks for the heads up.

How much where the wheels??
