Used to rarely do this, now it's once a day or so.

turn key, nothing.
jump the solenoid and it starts right up.
I swapped the solenoid and the problem remains.
Is the ignition switch a common issue on these cars?

I have the same darn problem with my 93 mustang, i replaced the solenoid and ignition switch and finally just ran a wire from the solenoid to a switch and power source, ghetto style.

I figured i could find some similar threads, but the search function isn't working for me.

Thanks!
My first post, but this forum has helped me a lot!

I'd say check for voltage at the S terminal connection during attempted cranking. After that, if there is no voltage, check the wire running to the S terminal on the solenoid for continuity at the ignition switch and solenoid, and make sure there is voltage coming from the ignition switch when you turn the key to start.
