alright so what i am planning on doing (note for all of you tree huggers out there please don't give me hate mail) is cutting my exhaust before the cats and true duals to a flowmaster double in double out.. but i don't have the muffler right now and my cats are CLOGGED.. well actually it's my second cat.. the first one is fine.. anyways i was wondering does anyone know of the 4.0's burning valves if you cut the cats off and leave the pipes like that for maybe two weeks..? i know some trucks can run forever with only a few feet of pipe and others will burn up and die.. after i run the pipes to the muffler the backpressure should be fine but for a few weeks will this be okay?
