96 Chevy POS Blazer

On my old Blazer, I noticed only my drivers front speaker comes on constantly and my passenger side front is intermittent. Wondering if anybody has any ideas of what might be causing it.

Thats what I'm thinking, I've pulled the head unit out and double checked the connections so they're okay. I'm next going to back trace the speaker wires for each speaker and see if I have a short or a ground problem. I'm thinking it might be the wires are starting to go bad but I'm not sure. I've talked to a GM Service Rep and he was telling me that the wires can become brittle and crack between the door and the body. I'll have to do some work on it when I get a chance.
