OK, so my wife went to her friend's house and when she got ready to leave, the car wouldn't start. I didn't hear the fuel pump, so my first thought was the fuel pump relay. (I have had to replace this in the past). After that was replaced & it still wasn't humming, I replaced the fuel pump.
So, now I have spent $160 and still cannot get it started. On a whim I checked the fire, there isn't any. ARGH!!!
What is going on?

could be a plugged fuel filter, or the shutoff in the front passenger side kick panel,

Would that cause the no fire? i have already checked the inertia button. it is good.

if the system cannot get fuel pressure , it will not allow the ignition to spark,
are there any codes or check engine light ?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Do you see a check engine light when you turn the key? If not, then your computer isn't turning on. The fuel pump can't turn on without the computer. Check the PCM fuse, relay, and ground.

I can't get it to start, So I can't tell if the engine light stays on. I will check the Filter tomorrow.

OK, No engine light. all of the others, though. That leads me down another path.
I will double check the PCM fuses and relay in the morning (if it ain't raining again), you say it might be a bad ground as well?

OK, I replaced the relay. now it starts, but acts like it is running out of gas. does the new pump need lots of gas to prime?
