96 XLT 2wd vs 2002 XLT 2wd both with 4.0

Who would win if it were a straight race at the stop light? Both are automatics, both have the 4.0 liter V6 motor. My room mate has the 2002 and I have the 96 and I told him that I figured mine would be quicker simply because the 96 is a lot lighter than the 2002's right? I'm not sure- just figured. Let me know who would win and by how much? What would the quarter mile times be for both vehicles on average?

Thanks in advance. I want specs for these vehicles but am having trouble finding any.

You'd get wasted. He's got the 4.0 SOHC 205 horse motor, you've got the 4.0 OHV 160 horse motor.

I know my SOHC really catches some people off guard. I know for a fact it will take an OHV Explorer (at least a decently stock OHV X) because I have done it before.
