Hello I just changed the left (drivers side) timing chain cassette and before putting everything back together I want to make sure I have the timing right. I haven't installed the jack shaft chain or its tensioner etc either, I have the crank key way facing up which should be #1 cylinder on tdc. What I don't know is if I moved the cams a little over the coarse of working on it, can someone give me a quick turtorial of how the cams should be facing, I do have both valve covers off to see the cams, my haynes book isn't very helpful...Thanks

If you haven't gotten an answer yet, on the back of that cam there there are two notches in the circle. They are not centered. In other words they don't split the circle into two equal halves. On the other cam, this circle is in the front. You want both of the cams to have the notches aligned on the bottom half of the circle so that they run parallel with the head.
