97 starting problem

My daughters 97 V6 wouldn't start on Saturday, I got out my manual, tools and started to troubleshoot. First, checked spark, none, checked for 12v @ the coil red wire. Had 12V, so cranked and it started. TODAY SHE DROVE TO WORK, BUT AFTER WORK THE SAME PROBLEM, CRANKS BUT NO START. Anybody had this problem?

Search, and you'll find lots of stuff. Since you've already determined that there was no spark the first time, my thoughts would be coil packs or crankshaft position sensor.
