Hey all, it's been a while since I've posted....I got caught up on another vehicle. This is my second time replacing the exhaust from the muffler back in 3 years. The pipe rusted straight through near the outlet of the muffler, and the muffler itself has a few holes at weld points....other than those spots, the system is rust free.
I have the 6 cyl, Explorer XLT. The muffler has 2 inlets, with one outlet. I wish I could give measurements, but I am nowhere near it right now.
But what I'd like to know, is what exhaust parts will I need? I've never done exhaust work myself before....well, nothing major like this. I need everything from the muffler back....and maybe a smidge in front of the muffler as well. What will fit? I try ebay to find what should fit, but nothing looks right. I'd like a direct OEM fit, however I wouldn't mind a little bit of rumble too, but nothing obnoxious.
