97 Xlt

Hello,

I have a 97 XLT with 61,000 miles. The only options I didn't get was the sunroof, running boards, or CD player. Everything else is exactly what I need.

I love my wife and girls very, very much but my truck is a very close second (which is shared with my boat). It's been a good vehicle with a few minor problems.

I'm hoping to add a few things to her sometime in the near future.

I've noticed that most of the trucks on here are the early models (early 90's) and not many 97's. Anyone have pis of their 97 with some additions to her?

Hey Sethro,

I have a 99 Chaparral 205LE cuddy cabin that we use on Lake St. Clair here in S.E. Michigan. She's got a 5.0 power house that is great for pulling skiers and/or tubers. We've enjoyed her a ton these past two summers.

And I forgot to mention I have the V8 AWD in my Explorer. And I have 66,000 miles on it...not 61K...that's my wifes car.

I pull the boat with my ride and it does an okay job at it. The boat is the first thing I've towed with this truck so I have nothing to compare it to.
