98 2wd coil sup ball joint (lower)

do i really have 2 replace the lower control arm to replace my ball joints the truck has 60xxx so i know they are original and the parts store sells the ball joint but says for the first one i must replase the whole lower arm

No, you can replace the lower ball joints seperately. Upper ball joints are the ones that require new control arms. You should be able to press the old ball joints out of the lower control arms with a ball joint press.

Have them look at a Moog K8771T

Oh yea...what parts store?? There are some out there I wouldn't trust to find me the correct spark plug.
