98 EB Climate control

The automatic climate control has stopped working in my 98 Eddie Bauer,No matter where I set temperature,it stays on all the time,not turning off at set temp. What direction should I look in to fix? Inside of truck gets HOT! I have not tried ac yet to see if it will blow cold.Thanks For any help ort info you can give. BY THE WAY,4.0 183k miles,Still going strong!

Do a search on the forum for 'blend door'. Many posts on this.

Try the AC - if that doesn't work it probably means that either the blend door or actuator is shot.
