98 Explorer bumper on 1999?

my explorer is 99 with the crappy plastic bumper with the fake chrome trim and the round fog lights... i was wondering if a 1998 explorer bumper would bolt right on my 1999 or if they changed the frame mounts at all. if anyone knows please let me know. thanks

Welcome, and they will all swap from 95-01. That is the whole bumper, The frames are the same.

That's interesting because a lot of people want your bumper instead of the steel one. See if you can find one of those members, and swap bumpers. Regards,

yeah i just want the steel one because you can rip of the lower plastic valance and it makes it appear to be higher off the ground. now that i know that...... if anyone wants to trade bumpers and lives in oregon or washington ill do it! the grey blastic on my bumper is hurculined....i just did it last thursday.
