Hello
i have a 1998 ford explorer Eddie B 4x4 sovc. The transfer case recently went out on it. so i had it replaced. But when they replaced it the tranny oil spilled out and the tranny filter was changed. I took it home from the shop and then noticed it did not want to shift gears. I was told that when u switch out the old oil and filter on an old tranny it starts to slip. Well i bought another used one that was working fine on another explorer and now when it reaches 35 mph it doesnt want to shift but if i play with the gas peddle a bit it catches the next gear and works fine. then i push the over drive button and it just makes a grinding sound. Anyone have any ideas what else i could try other than selling the dam thing.
