Was having trouble shifting then one day wouldn't start in park or neutral. Shifter bushing were bad. Changed front and back and still wont start. Get all the bells and sounds but wont start in any gear. Could this be neutral safety switch?

Sounds like the neutral safety switch is a good start.

Sometimes the range sensor on the side of the transmission where the linkage goes in can get out of alignment. Try loosening the screws and adjusting it up or down. If still won't start after that it may need to be replaced.
