im looking to put a aftermarket cd player in my wifes 98 taurus that has the circle radio in it...i know you can get the in dash kit to make it work, but my question is, the rotary ac/heating controls are below the factory radio, the in dash kits puts the controls above the new radio. the car also has the factory amp in the trunk, so i take it that i have to buy a wiring harness to go from the back of the radio to the trunk? my 96 explorer was a bear to wire cuz the atenna was plug into the factory amp in the rear cargo area, will this be similiar? i'm pretty good at installing radios and amps, but ive never done one on this type of car, any tips, or suggestions?
