Ok.. well.. i think i've made so may posts on this.. so i'm sorry.. but it seems i've run into problem after problem trying to get my bumpers back on after the body lift.. I had the new brackets made for my 99 mountaineer excatly to spec. from the templets on this site.. they look great, but it seems on my mountaineer one of the holes for the bolts is resesed back.. it's like that on both sides.. i belive the one on the inside sticks out futher than the one on the outside.. the brackets are flat so they don't seem to be fitting right.. or mabey i'm missing somthing.. anyway.. any suggestions???

I think i got what you're saying here....ummmm tryin flipping the brackets to the outside of the chassis rails. that's the way mine are bolted.

yeah.. i'm putting the brackets on the outside but only one side will bolt on.. the other dosn't reach since it's resesed back.. it's like that on both sides.. one of the holes on the chassis sits further back, so the bracket wont sit flush.. if i try to put it on as is the bracket sits at a angle. so yeah.. i dunno...
