Yes 37-12.50R17's Pro-Comp MT's
Still have a bunch of fine tuning to do on it before its on the road but here's the skinny.
D30 out of a 2002 Grand Cherokee, with 4:10 gears already installed. Front radius arms out of a an early bronco I had sitting around. Stock steering box and modified jeep to explorer linkage. Nice thing is it runs separate tie-rod and drag link and modified jeep track bar. Rear is stock with an SOA and I'll have to add a leaf to the pack I'll be running 4:10's soon. Front coils are from a ranger 6" lift. Stock front and rear drive shafts with a 1.5 inch aluminium spacer on the rear shaft. The engine and trans are stock 4.0L push-rod engine and stock trans freshly rebuilt with a couple added goodies on the inside. Still have to put in the remote trans filter and cooler. I'll do the brown wire mod to the t-case but other than that it's hopefully staying stock.
If you read through my write up on my 99 I had talked about my friend that wanted to do his explorer well this is actually it. He had to move due to work so I bought it off him for dirt cheep. It had been crashed up onto a cement barrier in front of his house so the front suspension was bent up but the frame was OK. So unlike my last build on the 99 this one took a little longer to do...lol... Like 5 years...lol...
I did build myself a nice little shop to work on it in and collected lots of tools for the build.
Future stuff to get done are front and rear bumpers with tire carrier on the back and a winch mount on the front. Possibly a roof rack but it's so high up that that probably wouldn't get used much...lol...
Pictures soon...
Cheers Randy
