Wiring won't be that difficult, PATS will take a bit of work.

A valid speed signal might be your biggest hurdle. The Expo PCM gets its signal from the ABS system, the Ranger uses its PCM to generate the signal from a transmission sensor.

Might be able to adapt and earlier VSS signal generator or graft in thd expo ABS module and its g-force sensor.

use the long block

Basically you'll just use the long block from the Explorer since the valve covers and engine wiring harness are different. Use the Ranger stock PCM to avoid PATS issues.

You have to be an elite (paid) member to sell on the forum.

Oh ok sorry about trying to sell didn't see that but I do understand I do appreciate y'all's replies a lot and the tips. And for the PATS what's that stand for

passive anti-theft system

passive anti-theft system (PATS) utilizes ignition keys with microchips with a code. The PCM is programmed to recognize the codes for the keys that came with the vehicle. If a key code is not in the recognition table the PCM immobilizes the vehicle. Special (expensive) equipment is required to reprogram the PCM to recognize other keys.

Direct swap. Take the pcv setup out of the valley and cap port with a freeze plug and swap your ranger intake and exhaust manifolds on. Timing cover and oil pan are the same.
