hey everyone. First time posting here. There is a lot of great info on this board, but I haven't been able to find a situation like mine.

I have a 99 sport 4.0 OHV. Drove it home last night, and it won't start this morning.
It is turning over, has plently ofgas in the tank. My first inclination was the coil pack. I had replaced it about 3 months ago when it did the same thing, and it started back up. So i'm thinking thati s the problem...

Well, I go get another one under warranty, replace it, and still no start. I'm checking for spark directly at the coil pack by removing a wire and watching for an arch. No dice. I'm really at a loss here; not sure what to check next. I have checked all fuses and relays, they are all good. I'm getting voltage at the wiring haress for the coil pack with the ignition on..

any ideas..??

thanks in advance everyone!!

Since it appears you are not getting spark, you might want to check the ignition trigger system. There is a sensor that monitors the camshaft position and another that monitors the crankshaft position. The data from these is fed to the computer, and that's what determines when to fire the coil packs. If one of them is bad, it might cause the truck not to run. I'd suggest going out and buying a Haynes or similar repair manual. It has the info on the ignition system with pix in it.

Oh, BTW, welcome to the board!!
:D
