A/C compressor stopped working.

I got it from Advance Auto. I replaced the upper hose and will replace the lower hose when i have more time. I have the lower hose just ran out of time.
I should have figured it was the radiator causing most of my problems a couple months ago when the transmission fluid was leaking into the coolant side of the radiator.

I remember that conversation and the photo of the Goop. Glad to hear you got it all resolved.
I often go off about OBD-II systems & how they create problems by using the "double sensor" technology & 4 signal, ping + echo then call + response scanning protocol. Our GOVT at work again.:thumbdwn:

Between Pending codes lighting up CEL or prompting unnecessary threads of "potential" DTC's it's easy to waste a lot of time and effort trying to get at a root cause of a problem/ symptom. IMHO, that kind of defeats the purpose & whole Idea of a scannable PCM System, don't you agree?

I find OBD-I systems far easier & considerably more reliable to work with for the very reason illustraed in this thread. There's nothing easily done I know of, to retrograde OBD-II to more functional & reliable OBD-I system however.

Just my opinion folks, well maybe a bit more than my opinion, it is also why I jumped when I found a '95 Aero with the spec's I really prefer. '95 was last OBD-I, MAFS-EFI System. As we know analog reading, digital, VOMs read the
DTC's & present codes in needle motion just as well as a $1200.oo scanner.

I'll be quiet now, :salute:

CIAO,
FBp
