A/C problems.

hi all,

my question is i have a 2001 ford explorer sport and the ac stopped working. it had worked last summer. i have checked the dampener and the fan behind it work fine. i have ran the a/c die to check for leaks and made sure the unit is charged. any ideas?

Have you checked to see if the compressor kicks in when you turn on switch?
May need someone inside while you watch to see if the clutch pulls in when the AC switch is turned on.

a/c problems

i hear it click in. then it idles up then goes back down.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the A/C & heater section. You should connect a manifold gauge set to check the pressure.
